Our story in Craft Spirits began in 2013. That year, my wife Andrea Serra and I decided to transform our love for food and flavors into an authentic product that would reflect our passion for Mexico and its traditions. Months later, the first batch of mezcal from Tribal Group was born.
As a highly skilled chef and culinary arts teacher, Chef Andrea Serra used her talent for flavors to create a unique blend of some of the finest Oaxacan mezcals. I have spent my entire life in the tequila industry. The combination of our expertise and the artisanal mezcals from Maestro José Díaz de Miahuatlán and Cipriano Hernández (Oaxaca) translates into the magnificent recipes that make Casta Tribal Mezcal so special.
Mexican Craft Gin
Years later, in 2018, as we embarked on our journey of crafting exceptional artisanal spirits, we made a captivating decision to create a gin infused with Mexican ingredients. With the perfected formula in hand, I pondered upon the perfect place for its creation and recalled an intriguing encounter from years past with Roberto Robles and his fascinating story. This reminiscence sparked a compelling desire within me to embark on a journey to Jalpa, where we would embark on the creation of our remarkable Perro Desterrado gin.

The Distillery
And so, our captivating journey led us to the realization of a grand vision. In 2019, we unveiled our very own distillery nestled in the heart of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, bringing us closer to the essence of our craft. As the master distiller, I personally oversee every meticulous detail of the gin production process, ensuring unparalleled quality.
In that same year, we embarked on a daring exploration of flavors and introduced our daringly spicy gin, igniting taste buds with an exhilarating sensation.
But our passion and expertise didn’t stop there. We ventured further, offering our distilling mastery to clients who sought nothing less than exceptional, bespoke creations for their own esteemed brands. Together, we co-created unique, high-quality spirits that celebrated their individuality and left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to savor their distinctive allure.
